Rye sat alone in the fields. It was dusk, now, and she'd been there for a while, just thinking about life. She picked up her 2B pencil and started to sketch the bright pink sky, along with the trees surrounding her. A soft crunch of leaves behind her shook her from her trance and told her she had company. Rye held her book to her chest and spun around.

Adreanna was walking when she noticed her friend sitting alone, sketching the beautiful pink colored sky above them. "Hey there Rye!" Adreanna skipped towards her friend and sat down next to her. "Whatcha Drawin?"

"just the sky," she said, holding uP her drawing. The bell rang suddenly.

Rye took her hand and was pulled up. "What have you got now?" Rye asked as they headed for the school.

"Science," she said as they walked through the door to the Big castle that was their school. As they were walking, a sound stopped them in their tracks.
"What was that?" Rye asked. "It's coming from over there!" she whispered.

"Just a peek wouldn't hurt would it?" she whispered. They both crept around he corner. Re stared in shock at the door. It was slightly open and resembled the door she'd seen on her first day.
"I wonder what's inside...?" Adreanna whispered.

Adreanna moved her hand to opened it, "hmm..." She whispered to herself and opened the door.

As the door creaked open, a pair of fierce, yellow eyes appeared. The sho out at the girls like a rocket, almost knocking them off their feet, it they were quick enough to escape.
The girls ran, looking behind them once in a while until it was all clear. Their run became a trot, and soon became a walk as they stopped altogether at a large oak tree and sat down.
'What was that thing?!" Rye asked, worriedly. Adreanna shook her head.
"I have no idea..." she replied. A sudden look of horror washed over Adreanna's face as something behind them lept out. The beast was black, and almost...transparent? With fierce yellow eyes that seemed to pierce through Rye's heart.
"W-what do we do?!" Rye yelled. There was nowhere to run, a second black beast, and a third... Soon there were black beasts surrounding them, walking closer and closer.
Rye and Adreanna slowly walked backwards towards the tree.
"Maybe... We can take them on? Like in the movies!" Adreanna said, hopefully. But Dye shook her head. The beasts were huge - at least twice her AND Adreanna put together.
The girls screamed as one of the beasts lept onto them, knocking them off their feet. They fell backward. It was now that it seemed as though the tree was a liquid, because the scene in front of them had changed. No beasts... No school...
"Where are we?"

"I-I don't know" Adreanna rubbed her head, replaying what just happened in her head. "What the HELL WERE THOSE THINGS?? What if they come back Rye!" She was panicking, she had only seen beasts like that in books & movies, she had no idea that they were actually real!. She looked around at the place surrounding her and Rye. "What....the hell?" She mumbled to her self, Looking as if she was annoyed in a way.

"I-I don't know!!! What about the SCHOOL??!! The school is in dang we have to gt back!"
"there's no way in HELL I'm going back there if there are...MONSTERS wandering around!" Adreanna refused. They both stared at the scene inferno of them, realizing that they HAD been transported to another realm. It was if all there problems had Gond away, because a feeling of happines and joy rushed through their bodies b
"But," Rye said, "Where ARE we...?" she asked in amazement. It was like her dreams. That was it! It WAS the realm from her dream. And that beast.. That Beas was the thing that scrantched her in her dream...
Rye's eyes slowly drifted down to her arm. The cut was still there, but it was grey and cold.
She clenched her arm as Adreanna looked at her.
